Biography
Larry Sledz is a Senior Attorney in Braun Kendrick’s business and estate planning department.
Before joining Braun Kendrick, Larry served for 10 years as an attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, most recently as Senior Counsel, where he managed complex tax litigation before the United States Tax Court. During his tenure at the IRS, he handled a wide range of sophisticated tax controversies including one of the first virtual trials in the history of the Tax Court. Larry also continues to serve as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army Reserve. As a Judge Advocate, he deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where he advised military commanders on complex legal issues of historical importance. Prior to his time with the IRS, Larry worked in private practice in Toledo, Ohio, handling all manner of business, estate planning, and transactional issues.
Larry draws on his extensive experience in tax law and his service as a military legal advisor to counsel individuals and businesses through their most critical and high-stakes matters.
