Biography

Jamie has successfully represented private and municipal clients in the State and Federal trial and appellate courts in Michigan and before the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Jamie also regularly advises clients on employment-related matters and provides legal opinions on insurance matters.

 

Jamie was appointed by the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to the Court’s Local Rules Advisory Committee and served on that committee for six years. Jamie has also twice been appointed by the Chief Judge to serve on U.S. Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panels. Jamie is a past winner of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review Distinguished Brief Award, an annual award given for the best briefs submitted to the Michigan Supreme Court.

 

Jamie is a graduate of Leadership Saginaw. Ms. Nisidis currently serves as the Chairman of the Firm’s Executive Committee.
