Andrew J. Hereza

Biography

Andrew J. Hereza is an Associate Attorney in Braun Kendrick’s Business Department. 

Andrew’s practice primarily focuses on trusts and estates and business law matters. Andrew helps families plan for death and incapacity by guiding clients through the estate planning and trust and estate administration processes. In addition, Andrew advises closely held businesses on a variety of issues, including entity formation, contract management, real estate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Moreover, Andrew’s municipal law practice covers a wide range of issues involving code enforcement, FOIA, and ordinance development.

Andrew earned his Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While in law school, Andrew was on the Dean’s List every semester and graduated in the top 10% of his class. Andrew received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for earning the highest grade in his Research, Writing & Analysis class and the Best Oralist Award in his Advocacy class, both earned during his first year. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University, where he double majored in Political Science and Public & Nonprofit Administration with an emphasis in Local Economic Development.

Outside of work, Andrew is an avid drummer. He has recorded several albums with various bands and artists and has played live shows around the mid-Michigan area. Andrew is also dedicated to serving his community. Andrew is an elected members of the Board of Directors for the Saginaw County Bar Association, a member of the Great Lakes Bay Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra’s Fund Development and Special Events Committees.

Andrew is a Saginaw Township native.
